The product “1C:Accounting for Estonia. Basic Version” is a simplified version of “1C:Accounting 8 for Estonia”. It can only be used in single-user mode, cannot be customized for the specific requirements of an enterprise, and is only distributed electronically. Updates are available without the need for a paid support subscription.
Limitations compared to the PROF version:

Multi-company accounting in a single database is not supported;

Multi-currency accounting is not supported;

Modifications to the program are not supported (except for print forms and external modules);

Multi-user mode, including client-server support, is not available;

1C:eDoc upload is not supported, and there is no built-in email client.
If the organization later requires multi-company accounting in a single database, simultaneous work of several users, or other tasks not supported in the Basic version, it can upgrade to “1C:Accounting 8 for Estonia (PROF)” under favorable conditions. All accumulated accounting data will be fully transferred to the new program.
The solution provides all necessary functionality for accounting, including preparation of mandatory (regulatory) reporting, for organizations conducting any type of commercial activity: wholesale and retail trade, services, etc. It is focused on automating accounting for small enterprises where a single accountant works with the program and no customization of the standard configuration is required.

To receive updates and other services, the program must be registered in the personal account on the 1C:ITS portal using the PIN included in the package, either with the help of a Data Service OÜ consultant or independently.
