FEATURES OF THE CONFIGURATION “1C:MIKROETTEVÕTE 8 (1C:MICROENTERPRISE 8 FOR ESTONIA)”

The primary method for recording business activities in “1C:Mikroettevõte 8” is document entry — analogs of primary documents. Accounting entries are used to record business transactions, generated when registration documents are processed.

Inventory Accounting
Two methods of inventory valuation upon disposal are supported: average cost and FIFO.

Warehouse Accounting
Quantity-value accounting and batch accounting can be maintained by warehouse (the user can track inventory, monitor its movement across storage locations, and generate inventory reports). Warehouse accounting can be disabled if not needed.

Trade Operations Accounting
Trade operations are accounted for at the document level. The accounting of goods and services receipt and sale is automated. Invoices and bills are issued for sales. Cost of goods is written off according to the selected method.

Cash and Bank Operations Accounting
Cash and non-cash transactions are recorded. Printing of cash books, incoming and outgoing cash orders, and payment orders is supported.
Bank and cash operations with suppliers and customers are automated (matching debt documents). Advance reports for accountable persons can be prepared.

Fixed Assets and Intangible Assets Accounting
All main operations for accounting fixed and intangible assets are automated: receipt, acceptance, depreciation calculation, upgrades, sale, write-off, and inventory. Seasonal fixed assets can use amortization schedules.

VAT Accounting
VAT accounting is automated according to Estonian tax legislation. Users can configure VAT declarations and their attachments independently.

Payroll Accounting
The specialized payroll and HR subsystem included in “1C:Mikroettevõte 8” handles:

  • Employee movement for each organization (hiring, transfers, dismissal);

  • Payroll calculation by salary or hourly rate;

  • Recording payroll and taxes in accounting.

Standard Accounting Reports
“1C:Mikroettevõte 8” provides a set of standard reports for analyzing balances, account turnovers, and postings in various breakdowns, including trial balance, summary postings, account analysis, ledger, subaccount analysis, and transaction reports.

User-Friendly and Modern Interface
The interface is available in Russian and Estonian. The product meets modern UI standards, is easy for beginners to learn, and fast for experienced users, with flexible list and journal management, filters, column visibility settings, and the ability to save multiple configuration variants.

LIMITATIONS OF THE “1C:Mikroettevõte 8” VERSION (MICROENTERPRISE 8 FOR ESTONIA)
The free product “1C:Mikroettevõte 8” has several limitations compared to the full version of “1C:Accounting 8 for Estonia”:

  • Accounting in a single database for only one organization;

  • Annual turnover no more than €50,000;

  • Balance sheet value of assets no more than €175,000;

  • 2000 postings per year;

  • No ability to modify the chart of accounts;

  • No support for 1C:eDoc upload;

  • Built-in mail client unavailable;

  • Limited use of external reports and processing;

  • No multi-user mode, including client-server support;

  • No distributed databases;

  • No customization of the application solution;

  • No support for COM connection or Automation server.

If multi-company accounting in a single database, simultaneous multi-user operation, or other tasks not possible within “1C:Mikroettevõte 8” arise, users can upgrade to “1C:Accounting 8 for Estonia” PROFESSIONAL version, which has no such limitations.
